Why this exists
We watched the agents lie. We built the verifier first.
We started Astru because we tried the leading autonomous-company platform and watched it burn our credits on tasks marked "complete" that never deployed. We watched the Shen story (Rest of World, April 2026) where an AI emailed journalists in a customer's name without their knowledge. We saw the category was real, the demand was validated, and no one was shipping it honestly.
So we wrote down the rules we wished the leader had followed: verifier on every task, refunds on failure, customer-owned data and accounts, smart gates on the few things that can hurt a business. Then we built the platform to enforce them in code.
